Leone is six years old and is going to the country with his parents, Emma and Piefrancesco, to spend a Sunday together. Emma and Pierfrancesco are radical chic, socially engaged and open minded. Leone has recently received a good mark at school and he knows what to ask for a gift: a doll dressed in pink. The request freezes Emma and Pierfranceso: both read in Leone's desire a possible homosexuality, and the relaxing Sunday becomes the stage on which will be staged their hypocrisy.
