Devichiy perepolokh (1975)

The Tsar ordered to choose a bride for himself - the most beautiful, well-bred and economical girl of all the noble daughters in Rus'. The royal matchmaker, boyar Sapun Tyufyakin, and the young clerk Yuri, accompanying him, arrive in a remote voivodeship.Yuri falls in love with the daughter of the local governor, Marfa, who, in order to test Yuri's love, poses as a maid. Fearing that the choice will fall on her, Martha hides from the royal matchmaker - the boyar. After a series of adventures and misunderstandings, Marfa and Yuri happily overcome all the obstacles that prevent their union.
