During the Cold War era of the early 1960s in Australia, the activities of Soviet Union Russian diplomat and spy Ivan Skripov whilst liaising with "Sylvia" who was unknown to him to be working for ASIO - the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation, who produced this film in collaboration with Cinesound Productions.
