After experiencing years of abuse and the death of his sister at the hands of a racist lodge owner, "Boss" Bedford, Jebediah Whitley vows God's vengeance upon all the "white devils" using Boss's lodge-- a "Hunter's Paradise" --as bait to lure unsuspecting victims who then become the hunted. Fueled by righteous rage and his own twisted brand of divine retribution, Jeb embarks on a killing spree that entangles an unsuspecting whitebread family into his trap. He is nearly thwarted in his plans when a crooked Preacher stumbles on his lodge for use as a hideout from those the faithful he's swindled, but with fierce determination, Jeb soon has the upper hand in dealing with the hustler. Soon enough, local Sheriff Wayne Wilkerson is alerted to those gone missing in his jurisdiction. His investigation soon puts him on a collision course with Jeb, his vicious white guard dogs, and Jeb's own mental demons as the body count increases. Staying just steps ahead of the Sheriff determined to bring him down, Jeb springs his trap on the family of hunters only to have his plans undone by the Sheriff and the family's black sheep daughter. Thinking they have vanquished Jebediah they're shocked to discover he's outsmarted them, leaving Wilkerson to hunt him down into the woods... becoming an unceasing search that fades into legend.
