Ivaral (2016)

Mohanraj VJ, is a writer, director and film maker of Indian Origin. Basically, Mohanraj a doctoral graduate and work as Regulatory Affairs Manager in a Pharmaceutical company at Melbourne, Australia. It is his long time dream to make a film. In the year 2014, he made his debut Tamil Short Film, Engeyum (means Everywhere), which got selected for the AIM Mumbai International Short Film Carnival 2014 (AIM MISFC 2014). Ivaral (means Desire), is his second Tamil Short Film. The film was shot solely in Melbourne and a result of valuable time, collaboration with great talented people, money and a desire to convey a crucial message, without all it would not be possible. For the director, making short film was never about making money. In fact with short films you cannot. He is doing it to build his profile and hopefully use it as a card to seek for an opportunity to direct a feature film in the future.
