'Take Off' is a Malayalam film based on true events and revolves around a married couple Sameera and Shaheed, who, together with a group of co-workers in search of better prospects, decide to go to Iraq as nurses. However, once there, they get embroiled in the civil war that is raging on. When they get abducted by militants, they must find a way to escape from their captors.
