About Joey: Father Figure (2017)

A quirky and somewhat elitist system administrator struggles to find romance and adventure in an often hostile world. The pilot episode 'Father Figure' of the series is about a date Joey Brugatto, the show's lead character, has with a beautiful dominatrix he finds online at the urging of his best friend Nick Takali. The date goes terribly wrong of course and it is uncertain if Joey will even survive the date. Meanwhile, Nick is looking for a scary guard dog for personal protection, but isn't sure that a powerful dog is the best match for his personality after Joey lectures him on the critical importance of a temperament match between human and dog.
