Rub Your Eyes Until You See Stars (2016)

For a moment a young woman's fear of losing her freedom seems to make a break up inevitable. In this short dance film her internal conflict is shown by the physical expression of locked in emotions. The constant pressure of the possible return of the other, enlarges the nerve wrecking process. Being completely situated inside a car, the film feels intimate and claustrophobic, symbolizing women being socially controlled.
