The story centres around Luka, an intensely lonely individual trapped in his own hell. Working the graveyard shift as a security guard, Luka has very little interaction with the outside world. He works throughout the night and travels underground. A luring dating advertisement on the tube promises that 'someone special is waiting' for him. With no human contact, Luka falls further and further into a cycle of psychological trauma. He lives in one of only two apartments on the 13th floor of a dark, menacing building on a grim street of London - 13A. While someone definitely resides in 13B, Luka has never seen them. To cling to some form of sanity, he must know who they are, or at least see their face.
