China's Golden Monkeys (2014)

China's highest mountain ranges are the home of one of the most elusive and mysterious monkey species in the world, the Chinese Golden Monkey. They were thought to be extinct until their re-discovery in 1962. Living at elevations of 5000 meters in the forbidding heights of China's Himalayan southwest, their survival represents one of the great mysteries in primate research today.
