Roll Thru (2017)

Abe, a mediocre young-adult living with his single mother in the suburbs of Orange County, wants to establish himself as a certified street dealer. Using his Lebanese roots to his advantage, he finds a way to increase his business by convincing his cousin that rolling joints is the same process as rolling the Lebanese, traditional stuffed grape leaves. With the bribe of pink heels, she agrees and they are in business together. She slowly becomes influenced by his rap and hip-hop idols and it creates tension throughout the family. This tension leads to the kidnapping of a family member and Abe has to make the decision to continue his lifestyle.
