Zerø (2020)

2020 (perhaps). A woman wakes up in the middle of a large wasteland. With no memory about who is her and how she is there, looking around her she finds a man lying in the ground as she is. After to wake up him, the man feels so strange as her, not having memories of his previous life and how arrived to the desert wasteland. Mistrusting each other but without another option to help between them for back to the civilization, they two spend the day walking aligned with the sun in an attempt to find another people or food. However, after a first day of unsuccessful looking for recover their identities, they two realize a horrible discovery: they woke up in the same place where they met previously. Trying another direction, she names him as Mario and he names her Julia while they still talking, checking all possible (or impossible) theory about what is happening. However, things complicate in an unexpected way: from this second night ahead, Mario starts to dream with a happy life as CEO in a big hi-tech company, married with Julia and with a little child, Luci, but his recurring migraines turns him in a negligent man in his work and specially with his family, for desperation of a Julia each time more frustrated with her husband. While in the real world Mario and Julia find themselves traveling from a point to another while they are sleeping and Mario learns that a silent aging man watches them from the distance, in his dreams Mario feels a great fear about the migraines but also he feels unable to speak about it with his wife. What they are Mario's dreams, just imagination or true remembers? Why they don't feel hungry or thirst in all day? And the most important: will they can to disclose the secrets of the wasteland before it be too much late?
