Down-and-out pastry chef, Alex, is mugged in a dark alley by 12-year-old, Dani. At first, their co-dependent relationship gives them each a reason to thrive, but when Dani is coerced to throw Alex under the bus for a crime he didn't commit, Alex must accept the punishment he believes he deserves, or become the hero he never thought he could be.
