Devilman: Crybaby (2018)

In all of his common life, the shy and emotional Akira Fudou couldn't have predicted the path he would follow after his friend Ryou Asuka asked him for help to uncover the existence of demons hiding within humans. One night when they are at a nightclub investigating, Akira unwittingly unites with a devil named Amon but manages to be in control and save his friend from the demons present there. Now with his new body and powers, they work together to hunt down those devilish creatures. The anime follows a little bit of the manga's story but in a modern setting of 2015-2020s.
