Luca and Javier, two foreign friends live in a charming little beach town in the Dominican Republic where they have found a place that allows them to stay away from their dark past, trying to be happy. When Lucia Flores, a powerful Mexican businesswoman, accompanied by her eccentric mother, sets her eyes on that place to build a luxury hotel, the harmony of the entire town is broken.
