Air Front: The Early Years '39-'42 (2011)

World War II perhaps saw the greatest advancement in air warfare of the 20th century. Conflict was now determined on the battlefield and in the air above, with both fighter aircraft and bombers playing a much larger role. In this film documentary, the first in a series of three following the development of air assault, the conflict between Germany and Britain is examined before the US entered the fray.
