Suburbana (2016)

Suburbana is a nocturnal odyssey. Francesco comes back to Morlupo to visit his family. Morlupo is the province near Rome where he grew up before leaving for the big city life. After dinner, his mate from adolescence, Luca, pays him a visit and takes him for a night ride around the small town. Francesco hasn't seen Luca for many years. The two lost tracks after Francesco moved and a common friend has died in a tragic car accident, or at least this is what they have always been told. The countryside roads bring back memories from the past days. The two remember the boring days spent together in that hole of town, and the ghosts from the past seem not to have left Francesco.
