The Doorway (2017)

The year is 1880. Edgar is wracked with guilt over the recent deaths of his daughter and granddaughter. He confines himself to a single room in an old house where he interacts with a malevolent figure that eerily seems to know, and prey upon, the depth of his guilty conscience.
