My Little Bess (2011)

The world according to little Bess is not so bad. Above all it's strange, unfamiliar. Even though, Bess is not feeling well in it, in a sense she's accepting it. She is in it. And maybe, when the girl grows up, she will be the Bess from 'Breaking the Waves'? Maybe she'll still crave understanding and love, though she'll will never be understood.
