Portrait of a Serial Arsonist: The Paul Keller Story (1993)

This documentary is about the year long string of arsons that were set in western Washington during 1992-1993, causing three deaths and millions of dollars worth of damage. Paul Keller, the man who eventually confessed to arson, had always been fascinated with fire and became increasingly unstable after the failure of his marriage. The film looks for answers by interviewing family and friends and also looking at his childhood. Paul Keller himself is also interviewed and he shares his thinking as to why he terrorized half a state with his crimes.
