AMR: Story of a Redemption (2017)

PLOT: Amr Sallam, an egyptian 31-year-old guy, who graduated in Economy in Egypt, tells the journey that took him to Italy and the path he started here in 2008. Amr retraces these 8 years through an honest tale: at the beginning his desire to come to Rome to chase his dreams; then the injustice and oppression that he has to endure for them being the victim of an exploitative boss; and at last, thanks also to love, the rediscovery of his rights and of his dignity's value as a human being, which will finally lead him to get his redemption. It's a coming of age story where Amr, the protagonist, after a strong inner revolution, experiences a growth, not just because of gaining awareness of his identity that will bring to act with strength and courage; but mostly by realising the transformation of his own initial dreams, together with the evolution of his ideas and expectations, that with time changed for the best.
