Casca de Baobá (2017)

Maria, a young black woman born in a quilombola community, got into college through the racial quota system and now lives in Rio de Janeiro. Francisca, her mother, still lives in the quilombo working in a sugar cane plantation. Both exchange messages reflect on the end of an economic-social era.
