Piedi nudi (2006)

Piedmont, Italy, 1944. The friendship between Anna and Nino, their runs and affectionate quarrels. On the background, the countryside destroyed by the war, the poverty, the hopes for the Italian partisan movement. Despite all of that the children continue to play, and a kite flies high into the sky. But one day the events affect Anna's family and her own life. But Nino is not willing to give up and will do anything he can to give back to Anna, who is now confined to a wheelchair, the feeling of freedom of a barefoot run.
