So We Bowl (2017)

So We Bowl is a coming of age tale that begins with a boy, Zeke, and his mother, Laura, driving to see Zeke's father. Zeke's parents appear to have been separated due to Zeke's father's past with alcohol. While on the way his mother teases him about his newly found teenage seriousness all the time and mentions going bowling. As they chat about it, a car suddenly sideswipes the vehicle. A few months after a boy, Zeke, loses his mother in a car accident, Zeke lives with his father, Michael, who has gotten back into alcoholism. As Zeke tries to find meaning in his life through the mysterious draw of the bowling alley, his father Michael is becoming more and more lost in the misery and pain he feels. He quickly becomes a threat to Zeke and Zeke's only safety is at the bowling alley. Zeke will have to face his father, his father will have to face what he has become and the brutal truth will be revealed: Adults can be just a lost as children.
