For most figure skaters that hold a lifelong Olympic dream, end their career with injury or mental breakdowns due the pressure to be the best. Artistic figure skating is the tomorrow of figures skating that has opened up doors to competitive figure skaters to capture their yearning to compete for their country internationally. With one team to bring home the gold, there is a lot at stake. CENTER ICE is a documentary that follows three young skaters, all different backgrounds, preparing for Nations Cup, one of the most prestigious theatre on ice team competitions in the world. Struggling from debilitating injuries and disabilities all while navigating the pressure, CENTER ICE takes an intimate look at the world of artistic figure skating and what comes after the Olympic dream of a figure skater.
