Maximus King, a wealthy, intelligent, strikingly handsome self made millionaire has it all. Or does he? The thing he desires most money can't buy...a guilt free conscious. In his quest for relief from the guilt and pain of the past, he acquires the services of therapist Dr. Sarah Finn, a meticulous, confident, curvaceous woman. Her unorthodox approach to getting Maximus to break through his issues, makes us question if she is friend or foe. Is she really here to help? The observation bears significance after the "Special Delivery" of a gift. A gift once opened sends Maximus spiraling back to the nucleus of his pain, forcing him to relive the most tragic moment of his life. Dr. Finn challenges him to go deeper with every session in hopes he'll find a spiritual connection to help heal his heartache. Maximus not only rejects her suggestion, he refuses to even acknowledge that a "Higher Power" exists. Blinded by pride, regret and an inability to push self aside, King can't see clearly the message before him. It's a message of hope reminding us that even through our greatest tragedies, God is always with us. Perhaps, when you are as powerful as a King, the only messages you care to receive are ones you decree. Maximus is playing a dangerous game of wills for which time is running out.
