The 21st century... Petersburg... Four white nights... The two in love... Fyodor Dostoevsky... The film is imbued with romanticism, love, passion and the aura of the nocturnal Petersburg. Every year this city lives through the miracle of white nights. It is the time when, it seems, everything holds its breath, the past, the present and the future flowing simultaneously. The two heroes meet each other on a bridge: he is a shy and lonely dreamer taking photos of the city all nights long. He feels for all strangers - and even houses - on his way. She is fragile, in love with someone else, her radiant face is wet from tears... Three white nights of sincerity and romanticism... of sadness and quiet joy... of kissing and embracing... But in the end there comes the morning... In fact Petersburg plays one of the central roles in this film: during white nights it intensifies the magic of the events. Petersburg becomes a part of the heroes' inner world: their souls are entirely filled with it, and altogether they become one single whole. Through this film one can see that miracles do happen in people's life - something which will affect their future...
