Ászja (1972)

Young Russian author, who writes about his travels but stuck for a long time in a picturesque but small German town, meets there two of his compatriots, a brother and sister. As they are aristocrats, living an independent life, the brother is a wannabe painter lack of any talent, and Ászja, the sister lives a pointless life. They become friends, and spend almost all of their time together. However Nyikolaj, the author find them a bit weird, he fall in love with Ászja, but conceal it from each other. Based on Ivan Turgenev's novel.
