40 Years in the Making (2014)

40 Years in the Making documents the process of bringing the movie Different Drummers to the screen. The story told by the movie is one that took place in 1965 in Spokane WA and involves two main characters who were 10 and 11 years old at the time; Lyle Hatcher and David Dahlke. The documentary includes interviews of David's mother, Gloria, who was 90 at the time the interview was conducted. It also includes interviews with Lyle Hatcher and is narrated by co-director Don Caron. Behind the scenes footage is included as well.
