The short synopsis of this motion picture was noted as "A frenzied autobiographical fiction presenting a day in the life of Wortzel." A bit more detailed examination brings a method into the madness, as the self-imposed artist blindly reaching for a reason to create something for art sake. Is that something art? You be the judge. The aforementioned frenzied element of Gary Wortzel's creative process, could be suggested as an unnecessary approach to his "making of a painting". Is it necessary to dive in dumpsters, walk in puddles, and not shower, just to be an artist? Perhaps it was in the early 1990's Boston art scene. The original soundtrack by New Jersey band; "The Whirling Dervishes", adds an endearing element to the hectic pace that is delivered in this short motion picture.
