The world's most famous movie star has four months to live, but the denizens of 'The LA Diner' - including the staff, Marilyn Monroe's stand-in, a black-listed writer, a gossip reporter, an aspiring actress, and an African American cook - are more concerned with their own problems as Hollywood, and America at large, faces an uncertain future. The story unfolds amid other Hollywood celebrities of the time including, Sammy Davis Jr.. Based on true events, this character-driven period piece is set in 1960's Hollywood at a small eatery which sits across the street from the studio filming Monroe's final film, "Something's Got to Give'.
