La Paisana Jacinta: En Búsqueda de Wasaberto (2017)

Based on the popular Peruvian comedy TV show. Jacinta is a naive Peruvian native who goes to Lima in order to get a job and a better life. When she has to return to Chongomarca, her hometown, she discovers that her (almost, as she says it) husband Wasaberto has gone to Lima in order to solve a problem with a building company that threatens to demolish the town in order to build an enormous luxurious hotel. During her travel back to the capital of Perú she finds a little girl she will befriend, among other people, which will lead to hilarious and heartfelt situations.
