Path Bipath (1996)

'Path Bipath' is a story of love, lust, superstitions. A lady reporter comes to the village to investigate the death of a girl who was suspected to be a witch. She stays at the forest ranger's bungalow. Manglu is the dumb caretaker of that place. As she interacts she finds out that many people had evil eyes on the girl and her land. The girl also suffered from epilepsy, a disease villagers were unaware of. The ranger confesses of his dark past and lustful ways for which he left the city. Manglu's lustful union with a foreign researcher was the reason why he became dumb. One night the reporter and the ranger get physically intimate and Manglu watches them. He is reminded of his past and he attacks the reporter but the ranger kills him and is imprisoned for the crime.
