Bancarrota (2017)

Bancarrota describes the financial situation confronted by Puerto Rico. Its purpose is to explain and illustrate the magnitude of the crisis, the aggravating economic factors and their implications in a concise and entertaining one hour program. The historical origin of the debt is brought to light, who contracted it, for how much, when it became a problem, who pays for it, and how. The power and proposals of the Financial Oversight and Management Board are described as well as public reaction and solutions to the crisis. The opinions of attorneys Alejandro Torres Rivera and Rafael Alomar Cox, economists José A. Herrero, Juan Lara and Sergio Marxuach, historian Angel Collado Schwarz, financial expert Myrna Rivera, and free thinker Victor Sánchez Cardona as well as the views of the people in the street are represented.
