Antar Bahir (1995)

Haldar babu is an extremely rigid orthodox and a firm follower of protocols and principles. This becomes the prime reason for the catfights which he has with his wife everyday. One day the lady's niece Shikta comes to stay over at their place. She meets Haldar babu's nephew Debu and they share a bitter sweet relationship. Soon Shikta's marriage is fixed with a person however it turns out to be Debu's friend. The duo express their feelings for each other but in unable to understand how to pacify Debu's uncle. Finally Shikta poses as the wife on Debu's wedding day and they married. Although Haldar babu opposes the wedding seeing Shikta, he later gives in when the latter asks whether he considered her as his daughter. Debu and Shikta get married.
