On a sunny spring morning in Jesolo beach a man stands on an empty square in which there are only a young girl on a terrace looking as if she was sleeping with eyes open, two girls dancing on a rooftop believing they are in a nightparty, and a man in toga who enters an empty apartment and hits himself with a knife trying to strike an invisible entity around him. Then the man watching suddenly finds himself on the beach, and looking the inland he finds out that there are no more cities, even no more mountains, and at that point he knows that his time has ended. He sees himself on his bed trying to escape this nightmare, only to find himself back in the empty square at night. The girl on the terrace has descended and starts walking somewhere and he starts to follow her. She arrives at home and at the entrance she finds her father cutting his left arm and a love message for her on the wall with his own blood. As the man, now become shadowed with lit eyes, watches from the opposite of the entrance, a monk-dressed man with a deformed face mask comes down the stairs telling the girl, that is not her father. She agrees with him, and he lays her down on the floor as her father goes on cutting his arm. As a group of drunk young men in a car outside Jesolo hear from nothing the conversation between the girl and the monk-dressed man, the shadowed man with lit eyes reaches the girl's father, takes the knife from his hand, then walks from behind towards the monk-dressed man layed down.
