At the beginning of the 20th century, the great-grandfather of documentary filmmaker Robert Bober left Poland and settled in Vienna. Before the shadow of National Socialism came to hover over this modern and cosmopolitan city, the capital was a cultural hot spot thanks to personalities such as Stefan Zweig, Joseph Roth and Arthur Schnitzler. Reading these authors, Bober thinks to find something that connects him to his grandfather.
