Argentina, 1976: Leticia Veraldi was a 4th year high school student at Colegio Nacional de Vicente López, in Buenos Aires, when her parents decided to move her to their friend's house in Cipolletti, Rio Negro, 750 miles away from home. At 17 the adolescent showed artistic and social interests: she played the guitar, knitted and had already decided to become a rural teach and work with Mapuche children in the Andes mountain range. This letter is one among many the young girl mailed to her former school mates and helps us go back to the story.
