Heart of Gold (2004)

1972, Colonel Dawson (Hansford Rowe) and elderly white officer is mismatched in a veterans hospital room with Private Curtis (Cecil Martin), a young black soldier wounded in Vietnam. Although injured, Private Curtis reaches out selflessly, despite the Colonel's bitterness and bigotry.
