Pauahi's Legacy (2017)

This is a dramatic short film depicting the love story between Princess Pauahi and Charles Reed Bishop. Though the greatest achievement and legacy of their marriage was the creation of the Kamehameha Schools in Hawaii, this film tells the story of the budding romance that formed when Charles was first introduced to Pauahi early in their life. The dramatic ending with Pauahi's death is the culmination of the movie that goes beyond the usual documentary telling of how the school was formed.
