Giants Do Fall: The Story of David (2018)

The Story of David is a classic story told in modern times. This story follows the lives of two foster brothers David and Levi who are taken in by an abusive foster mother named Ms. Goalieyoth. She is a monster that wears the face of a protector, caring for life as a well-respected nurse during the day, but at night when no one's eyes are watching she terrorizes David and his young brother Levi. Her status and reverence in her community protecting her from outside scrutiny. Their only ally, a police officer named Jonathan, who due to the abuse in his childhood is able to recognize the violence the young boys are facing. When Jonathan begins to investigate, Ms. Goliayoth's world starts to fall apart and the two boys are thrust into the fight of their lives to overcome their "Giant".
