We Dream We Fall (2018)

A Swedish woman and a Ukrainian carpenter who works in her house have a romantic encounter on a midsummer night. They are both looking for change in their lives. But the carpenters girlfriend knows what's going on and is waiting outside for her boyfriend. How does the individualistic society of today affect us? Who gets the chance to live their dreams? "WE DREAM WE FALL" is a story about three young people, with different backgrounds, trying to make their hopes of a better future come true. What is the price we pay for never being satisfied? "WE DREAM WE FALL" is a psychological drama disclosing prejudices about class, gender and culture. The film is based on August Strindberg's drama "Miss Julie".
