Deep in the San Fernando Valley, 3,000 miles away from the bright lights of Broadway, Foster is struggling to finish writing his latest musical. Foster longs to make it to the Great White Way one day soon. He hopes this new play will be his ticket out - if he could only finish it. He also struggles with the feelings he has for Danica, the beautiful Adult Film actress in the office next door. Danica works for her abusive movie producer boyfriend, who she wants to break away from and pursue her dream of being a real movie star. Her first step: landing an audition for Foster's musical. Can she make him see that she has what it takes? Can Foster get up the courage to let Danica know how he feels about her? Will they both achieve their dreams - together? With a little help from their "friends" they just might make it.
