The boys find a Turkish chess machine in the museum's storerooms and win a magic crystal with which they can subdue objects to their will. A doll, a puck at a match of their favorite hockey team.... And even a teacher. There are several forgotten Slovak films from the 1960s that focus on young children. They are often characterised by a sense of disability, especially in the boys' world - the protagonists of this film are a group of twelve-year-old boys who enjoy various adventure stories. While their antics are often intentional, the conception of the stories nevertheless testifies to how the filmmakers at the time tried to combine an amusing touch with an educational or somehow exhortative emphasis.
