The lady protagonist (enacted by Anupama Negi) works in a multinational company in private sector at a decent post. She stays in a South Indian PG where only once in a week they serve North India breakfast which keeps her waiting for the remaining days. Every day she travels from her PG to office in an office cab. The male lead (enacted by Vineeth MV) is a South Indian young working professional who also travels in the same office cab daily. The cab driver being a South Indian too, they share quite a friendly relationship. However, they do not look upon the lady in good eyes due to her so-called 'attitude' (or geographical differences)? The environment within the office cab changes starkly the moment this lady walks in. Soon after on-boarding the cab, she brings out her mobile phone and keeps talking to her mother continuously, giving almost no scope to the person on the other side of the call to speak up. One by one, she keeps sharing unhappy associations with her team lead, so-called best friend, ex-boyfriend, father who recently remarried, taunting boys in her neighborhood and so on - Her breathless meaningless depressive talks frustrate the male lead to such an extent that he keeps making ugly faces publicly all through. But as she reaches close to her office she disconnects the phone in a sobbing note, disclosing an highly unfortunate truth about her life which leaves her co-passenger totally shocked for the rest of his life. It is his realization which conveys the social message of the short film to its audience that things are not always how they seem. We should not create an impression about a person, just by initial interactions because we never know what miserable stories are hidden inside them. The film ends with some stunning facts about Depression in modern women and their fatal outcomes. The hour of need has come where instead of raising fingers at them, we should allow them to share their concerns. We might not be able to heal their wounds, but at least may play a tiny part in gifting them a happy smile.
