Officer Peter Gilchrist is the average 20 year police veteran from Anywhere, USA. On the outside; everything seems normal. He has a beautiful wife and home. On the inside; has Peter's life and career been pristine and perfect? Were there issues in his career that should have shown some red flags? In many ways; did the Department fail Peter; or did he simply fail himself over time. On one hot summer night; Peter finds himself in a shoot don't shoot situation.
