Harko and his xenophobic friends often drink beer at a bus stop. There isn't much to do in the Groningen countryside. Harko can't get away; he must help his unstable mother, while the earthquake cracks in the walls of their little dwelling get bigger and bigger. Then a bus with asylum seekers arrives. One of them is Faiza. She and her family must prove they are not fortune hunters. A pretty girl and an attractive boy, both with uncertain futures. The area is plagued by earthquakes and it is uncertain if Faiza can stay. Can love flourish on unstable soil in a ruthless social climate?
