Kid Creole & The Coconuts: There's Something Wrong in Paradise (1984)

Kid Creole and his Coconuts, with Coati Mundi, are shipwrecked on a tropical island governed by a racist black dictator. When Kid Creole becomes popular with the people, the dictator creates a Kid Creole impersonator to spread his message of racial purity. The two Kid Creoles are indistinguishable and confusion results until a surprise ending.
