The Uncanny Valley (2018)

After dropping her son at school, Eve gets into a car accident on her way to the gym. Completely stunned and alienated by the shock, Eve runs away from the site out of panic and hides into a dumpster before fainting. When she wakes up in a garbage land field, her memory has been completely wiped out. No memory of her own identity, but also no memory of modern society whatsoever. It's with a new pair of eyes, that Eve the wild child, rediscovers the city of Los Angeles, always aiming for her lighthouse Downtown LA, craving for human connection and meaning. Little by little, rejection after rejection, the crowd makes her what the crowd was confusing her with: one more homeless person lost in the landscape of the city.
