Enola Holmes (2020)

Based on the book series by Nancy Springer, this adventure set in the victorian England follows Enola Holmes, a teenager who one day realizes that her mother has gone missing. With her brilliant mind and investigative sense, she begins a quest to find her amidst seemingly absurd clues and lots of conjectures, while escaping the plans of one of her brothers and becoming involved in a mystery involving a young Lord. The actress Millie Bobby Brown displays all her charisma in this story with a feminist spirit that is narratively engaging and fun, whose two-hour runtime flies by.
